For the very first time, visitors, participants and exhibitors can plan and experience their time at Rapid.Tech + FabCon 3.D in the digital sphere. And it’s all possible thanks to the new event app. Users benefit from a handy tool that keeps them updated on all the latest events and provides information in real time, allowing them to create their very own personalized timetable and book appointments with exhibitors and other contacts. Exhibition guests can also download event documents, receive push notifications on changes to the programme, and share their experiences of Rapid.Tech + FabCon 3.D.

The app is available as a web version as well as from Google Play Store and the App Store, and can be found and downloaded under “Rapid.Tech”.

Exhibitors and speakers from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Israel, the USA, the Netherlands, Spain, China, Finland, Italy, Great Britain, Japan and Singapore will be gathering for the upcoming 16th Rapid.Tech + FabCon 3.D, which takes place from 25 to 27 June 2019 at the Messe Erfurt convention centre, to present the latest developments in 3D printing in a range of industries from automotive to dentistry.

The specialist conference will be focusing on the ongoing industrialization of additive manufacturing. AM experts will discuss developments, trends and applications in 14 industry- and technology-specific forums. New to the programme this year are the Software & Processes, Plastics and Standardization & Occupational Safety Forums. Alongside these the programme once again includes the established Automotive Industry, Aviation, Medical, Dental and Orthopaedic Technology, Contract Additive Manufacturing, 3D-Printed Electronics & Functions, Design, Metals, Legal, Tool, Mould and Fixture making Forums, an event hosted by the Fraunhofer Additive Manufacturing Alliance GENERATIV, and the two-day forum AM Science Forum.

This year’s 3D Printing Conference is dominated by training and development relating to additive manufacturing and developments and presentations from start-ups and the creative scene. Innovative ideas for using 3D printing in architecture, construction, art, mobility, medicine, sustainability, digital, design and fashion will be recognized in the context of the international 3D Pioneers Challenge. The hotly contested Start-Up Awards will also be back at Rapid.Tech + FabCon 3.D this year - highly coveted both in Germany and around the globe. Eight young international companies will deliver exciting pitches over the next few weeks as they compete for the title of Start-Up of the Year.
