It is no secret that the world is experiencing extraordinary times with the outbreak of Covid-19. As the virus continues to spread, it has become apparent that “social distancing” is the best way to mitigate its impact.

Our organisation is taking immediate action and will continue to put the safety of our team and the wider community first. With that in mind, Aurora has implemented a number of proactive safeguard measures and is doing everything it can to help prevent exposure and spread of the virus. These include:BUSINESS CONTINUITYWe will have a very small team in our office to provide operational services. CUSTOMER ORDERS AND RESEARCH AGREEMENTSIn addition to limited office staff, we have small teams of technicians rotating in the workshop. This will allow us to continue printing to honour our clients’ orders in the coming weeks or months.REMOTE OPERATIONSMuch of our workforce will be asked to work remotely until further notice. Exceptions will only be for roles that are business critical. Several new actions have been implemented to enable this policy including the adoption of further technology for remote meetings. All normal development work will continue including software and engineering as staff are able depending on personal circumstances related to COVID-19.TRAVEL BANWe have postponed all domestic and international travel for our staff (this unfortunately affects any plans for the 3 tradeshows that were due to occur this quarter in America). As a company, we will continue to monitor the unprecedented situation and act according to official local and federal advice but wanted to let you know that we continue to work hard for our customers and stakeholders. We appreciate your support and wish you a safe and healthy road ahead.
Sincerely,
David Budge, CEO
