Dassault Systèmes (Euronext Paris: FR0014003TT8, DSY.PA) announced changes to its current management structure. The Group is fully aligning its management and operations with its long-term strategy.
Pascal Daloz will fully focus on his role as Chief Operating Officer. His Operations Executive Committee will support the Group on its innovative course in the life sciences, healthcare, manufacturing, infrastructure and cities sectors. Daloz leads all strategic functions globally at an operational level. These include the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, brands, industries, human resources and administration.
Rouven Bergmann is appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and will report to Pascal Daloz. Bergmann is a proven expert in software and cloud finance and played a key role in the integration of MEDIDATA following its acquisition by Dassault Systèmes. Previously, he led MEDIDATA's operations as COO Life Sciences for Dassault Systèmes. In 2015, he joined Medidata Solutions, then a NASDAQ-listed company based in New York, USA, as CFO. From 2015 until its acquisition by Dassault Systèmes, Medidata grew from $300 million to over $700 million. Prior to Medidata, Bergmann was CFO of SAP North America, a multi-billion dollar software company. Bergmann holds a master's degree in mechanical engineering and business administration from the Technical University of Kaiserslautern and a doctorate in business administration from Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich. Bergmann lives in Paris.

Rouven Bergmann has been Chief Operating Officer at MEDIDATA since 2019, having previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer. Prior to this role, he gained experience in management and finance, particularly at SAP. He will ensure continuity in the finance area, scale software subscriptions and make the 3DEXPERIENCE platform our management system. Rouven Bergmann has a precise understanding of the key business drivers. Combined with his financial and strategic skills, he will be a trusted partner in managing the commercial affairs of our group. We are pleased to welcome him to the Executive Committee.
