Replique, the provider of a secure 3D printing platform that makes parts management more efficient and sustainable for OEMs, appoints Nikolas "Nick" Dinges as Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

As Replique's new CTO, Dinges continues to drive the development of the technology platform that enables OEMs to provide parts on-demand to their customers through a fully encrypted, global and decentralised 3D printing network. In addition to strategic development, Dinges ensures that the platform can be seamlessly integrated into existing manufacturing workflows within an ever-expanding 3D printing ecosystem.
Previously, Dinges was CTO at Hitchhiker, an independent company providing airfare management software solutions. At Hitchhiker, he coordinated the development of a booking management platform with hundreds of data sources, active in more than 25 countries.
"Nick is a great addition to the management team and we are delighted to have him on board," commented Dr Max Siebert, CEO and co-founder of Replique. "With more than 25 years of technology, strategy and product management experience in developing highly scalable commercial software, we are confident that Nick is the right person to expand our offering to OEMs."
"Particularly in light of global supply chain issues, distributed manufacturing with 3D printing offers tremendous benefits to companies: Providing parts when you need them, where you need them and in the exact quantity you need. Replique enables OEMs to benefit from the cost, design and logistical advantages of 3D printing and I am delighted to be joining the company at such a crucial time," added Dinges.
