Wind blades from recycled plastic
WASP presents the complete process at the Maker Faire 2019

At the Maker Faire 2019 WASP presents Rigenera, from waste to energy. The aim is to make visitors aware, in particular students and children, about plastic sustainability and reuse.
Aligned with the Maker Faire spirit, that celebrate the maker movement with creativity and inventions, WASP invites everyone to discover the complete process that, from recovered plastic to wind blades, that can give us electric energy.
Recycling of plastic waste through 3D printing, this is Rigenera: the creation of sustainable products. Once again the concept of a circular economy has come true, concept that has always characterized WASP.
What will be possible to see at the Pavilion Re-Think of the Rome’s Faire from Friday, 18th to Sunday, 20th October, is a zero waste cycle, from the 3D printed part back to the granules and to the print of a new part again, using 100% recyclable polypropylene.
WASP, for this purpose, will bring one of its biggest printers, the Delta WASP 3MT Industrial 4.0, which has defined a new standard in additive manufacturing.
