PANOVA opened the first showroom with 3D printers in Gliwice.

PANOVA, an expert in construction, architecture and IT services related to the implementation of CAD systems, and at the same time a business partner of 3DGence, opened the first showroom with 3D printers in Gliwice. The showroom belongs to the Research and Development Centre of the company, which was established in order to launch services in the area of new technologies for business.

In the showroom located in the centre of Gliwice, you can get acquainted with a range of technological solutions dedicated to the business segment, including 3D printing. This is the first and only place in Silesia where 3DGence 3D printers are presented on such a large scale.

Specialists from P.A. NOVA SA’s Cadvision New Technologies department who were trained in the print technology by 3DGence experts help in choosing the devices and learning about their functionality. The training included both elements of 3DGence equipment operation and aspects such as the base of available materials or the possibilities of using 3D printers were discussed.

Among the machines presented in the Gliwice showroom you can see the 3DGence INDUSTRY F340 industrial 3D printer and double-head 3DGence DOUBLE P255 compatible with most materials available on the market. Among the devices presented there is also a mechanical robot’s arm.

The showroom is a response to the growing demand for modern solutions by manufacturing companies. More and more companies are implementing 3D printing into their processes, which is why we decided to create a place where you can learn about the possibilities of this technology.

PANOVA, which has been involved in architectural design and urban planning for over 30 years, uses 3D printing in its daily work. Using such machines as 3DGence DOUBLE P255 and 3DGence ONE, the company performs precise models of buildings, which significantly improves conceptual work on project implementation.

Creating models using traditional methods requires a lot of work, that’s why 3D printers are a key tool in the work of any architect. Due to the need to manufacture many elements, the company has as many as a dozen or so machines working in FDM technology.

3D model building printout

One of the projects implemented by PANOVA using 3D printing technology was to create a model based on 1897 historical materials of the administration building of the former Narrow Gauge Railways Repair Workshops in Bytom to a scale of 1:75. The purpose of the project was to present the conceptual plan of the building. In the revitalization process, it is very important to present the form of the building in great detail referring to the original design.

High precision, typical of 3D printing technology, allowed for a complete presentation of the conceptual plan of the building (even such minute details as ornaments on the doors are visible on the model) and the layout of site improvements.
