Mesago Messe Frankfurt and the Formnext team are looking forward to holding Formnext from 16 - 19 November 2021 as a presence event in Frankfurt. Registrations from around 450 exhibitors and the associated opportunity for the long-awaited face-to-face reunion have been met with great anticipation in the industry worldwide.

After almost two years of almost exclusively digital encounters, be it for creative exchange, product demonstrations or meetings, the Formnext team and the AM community are eagerly waiting to return to the Frankfurt exhibition halls to give shape to their visions and ideas in face-to-face exchanges.
"In conversations with the AM community over the last few years, we have once again realised the importance of Formnext. The fair has a vibrancy and innovation that are unbeatable. Knowing that with the support of the entire community we can once again create such a creative space where people can exchange ideas in person, have productive conversations over a cup of coffee, touch products and discuss their innovations is just wonderful," commented Sascha F. Wenzler, Vice President Formnext of Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH.
Preparations for Formnext 2021 are in full swing and the event promises a variety of highlights. These include top-class lectures by industry experts, presentations from the partner country Italy, but also innovations as part of the purmundus challenge and the Start-up Challenge Pitch-Next event. In addition, the TCT Conference and Stage as well as the special shows of the VDMA AG AM and BE-AM (Built Environment) are to be highlighted. ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) is also organising an international standards workshop for the first time on the day before Formnext. The Formnext team is doing its utmost to make the first event after more than a year without a physical meeting a memorable one.
Once again this year, the most important companies in the industry will be represented at Formnext. Around 450 exhibitors (55% from abroad) have already registered, including 3D Systems, Additive Industries, Addup, Arburg, Autodesk, BigRep, DMG Mori, Dyndrite, EOS, ExOne, Farsoon, Formlabs, GE, Hexagon, HP, Keyence, Markforged, Materialise, Meltio, Nexa 3D, Prima Industrie, Renishaw, Sandvik, Siemens, Stratasys, Trumpf, Voxeljet and XJet.
Despite all the anticipation, the health and safety of all participants is paramount. Therefore, the protection and hygiene concept developed last year is continuously being adapted to the pandemic situation and legal requirements, as the organiser announces on its website. Wider aisles in the halls and additional communication and waiting areas in more highly frequented zones of the fair will help to maintain the necessary safety distances. A 3G concept will be introduced (Vaccinated, Convalesced, Tested).
The physical event will be supported two weeks later, from
30.11. - 01.12.2021, supplemented by the Formnext Digital Days. Given the rapid growth of the AM community and the demand for 3D printed products in all sectors of the industry, it is important to also enable those still affected by travel restrictions to participate digitally in the exchange of ideas.
