Ricoh to showcase its metal additive manufacturing technology at Formnext 2021

Ricoh's proprietary solution leverages the company's leading expertise in inkjet printheads to produce aluminium parts with complex shapes quickly and, most importantly, stably.

Ricoh Company, Ltd. and Ricoh UK Products Ltd. will unveil a new metal binder jetting technology at Formnext 2021, which will be held at Messe Frankfurt from 16 to 19 November 2021. This technology, developed specifically for aluminium alloys, is designed to help enable the production of end-user metal parts using 3D printing. Aluminium alloys are already widely used for metal parts. The solution developed by Ricoh creates a controlled production environment with the unique ability to produce aluminium parts not only in intricate shapes, but also in the form of narrow tubes.
