Polski (PL) Stratasys Ltd. (NASDAQ: SSYS), a leader in polymer 3D printing solutions, today announced its intent to expand its relationship with Encee GmbH. Encee GmbH is a long-time Stratasys Platinum Partner in Germany and as part of this agreement, Encee GmbH will establish a new division called Encee Medical to support the medical market in Germany.
Encee Medical doing business as (dba) Stratasys Medical will be focused on delivering Stratasys medical solutions throughout Germany. As part of this agreement, Encee will expand their hardware, training, as well as service capabilities, and hire a dedicated medical team.
Encee Medical, acting as Stratasys Medical, will be located in Bavaria, Ursensollen, with hardware that includes 3D printers for medical applications, post processing machines, a training center for clinical workflow applications and technical staff. Within this facility, Encee Medical dba Stratasys Medical will have the technology to showcase prospective and current customers the full medical production workflow. The Bavaria, Ursensollen facility will produce medical benchmarks and production parts for medical customers and provide technical support as needed.
