Innovations in Optics, Inc. introduces the Model 6000B-100, a compact, multi-wavelength LED solar simulator for PV manufacturers to test steady-state I-V measurements of photovoltaic devices. It meets Class AAA solar simulator requirements of IEC 60904-9 for spectral match, uniformity of irradiance, and temporal stability.

Xaar has launched its 5-step service for the evaluation of fluids for use in new product development and advanced manufacturing applications. The service aims to help companies establish the suitability of inkjet technology and fluids in new applications without incurring large upfront costs. To support the new service, Xaar has invested in a dedicated laboratory. Global technology Group Oerlikon, with vast expertise in materials, has entered into an additive manufacturing (AM) research alliance with Linde, the world’s largest industrial gases company, and the Technical University of Munich (TUM), one of the leading German universities in engineering.
