Dassault Systèmes (Euronext Paris: #13065, DSY.PA) announces the 3DEXPERIENCE World 2020, February 9-12 at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee, USA, where 6,000 designers, engineers, manufacturers, entrepreneurs, students and business leaders from all industries can learn, collaborate, innovate and experiment with the latest 3D technologies that are driving the Industry Renaissance.

The opening event of 3DEXPERIENCE World builds on the 20-year legacy of the SOLIDWORKS World events, dedicated to 3D design and the engineering community. With an extensive selection of training opportunities, presentations, products, new technologies and experts, attendees can develop and expand their capabilities to be more creative, efficient and responsive throughout the different processes involved in creating new experiences that transform the way the world thinks, works and lives.

In particular, 3DEXPERIENCE World 2020 will bring new business innovation strategies closer to SOLIDWORKS users through discussions and demonstrations of 3DEXPERIENCE WORKS, Dassault Systèmes' digital application portfolio based on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform for collaborative design for manufacturing.

Other highlights of the event are:

- A presentation by industry leader Charles Adler, co-founder and former head of design at Kickstarter.com, Kickstarter.
- Customers, innovators and partners at the forefront of design, including Sam Rogers, head of additive design and pilot of jet suits, Gravity Industries; Mikael Kajbring, CTO of Awake, makers of the Awake electric surfboard; Mike Schultz, founder of performance prosthetics manufacturer BioDapt; and Matt Carney of the Biomechanics group at MIT Media Lab, among many others.
- Over 350 technical sessions in lecture format, hands-on workshops and expertly led panel discussions on the latest innovations in 3D design, data management, simulation and manufacturing.
- 3DEXPERIENCE playground, a space dedicated to discovering new technologies, tools and applications from more than 100 partners, as well as experiencing innovations in virtual and augmented reality, participating in the challenges of the hackathon and the Model Mania competition, and seeing the impact of 3D technology on education and startups.

"We are continuing the long legacy we have built with this community. 3DEXPERIENCE World, like last year's SOLIDWORKS World, is a unique gathering where 3D enthusiasts can think creatively, connect with each other, and be inspired by the technological advances of the future," said Gian Paolo Bassi, CEO of SOLIDWORKS at Dassault Systèmes. "Attendees at the latest SOLIDWORKS World will continue to find everything they could enjoy in other years, but also applications and uses of 3D technology they don't expect. First time attendees will find a great selection of solutions and experts to connect with. Our purpose is to showcase all the possibilities that exist within the Dassault Systèmes ecosystem that will help our user community do its job and meet its goals.
