3D printing subscription program allows greater capital and manufacturing flexibility

Following the successful launch of the consumption-based 3D-as-a-Service Plus (3DaaS Plus) subscription model, HP Inc. is now extending its availability to additional markets. In addition to Germany, 3DaaS Plus is now available in the USA, Italy, Great Britain, Ireland, France, the Netherlands, Belgium and Spain. In Austria, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Portugal and Sweden, the service will start on April 1, 2020. 3DaaS Plus is available on a per-print basis.

"HP's All Inclusive 3D subscription service enables customers to produce high-quality parts cost-effectively. At the same time, the model offers less capital and increases flexibility to respond to new demands in everyday business. This is more important today than ever," said Frank Petrolli, Country Manager Germany 3D Printing & Digital Manufacturing, HP Deutschland GmbH.

The new 3DaaS Plus subscription model is an all-inclusive solution and includes the HP Jet Fusion 340 3D Printer as well as consumables, services, customer support and training. The model is designed specifically for customers who want to accelerate the product lifecycle through optimized internal rapid prototyping and flexible production of parts. The basis for the service is a thorough analysis of customer requirements. Simplified material ordering and inventory management with automatic replenishment make it easy to use. An online dashboard for easy tracking of invoicing creates transparency and provides direct access to support and training.

Among the first German customers to take advantage of HP's 3DaaS Plus offering

HIPP medical, the manufacturer of cutting tools, is investing in new machines and equipment for its production facility as an OEM supplier for leading medical technology companies. HIPP has implemented the latest production technologies - a significant competitive advantage over its competitors. In addition to the production of prototypes and the production of customer-specific components and instruments, HIPP medical specializes in the manufacture of tools such as bone drills, taps and bone mills as well as implants. This also includes the corresponding instruments for orthopaedics and dentistry. Due to its own production facilities, HIPP accompanies the customer from the development and rapid prototyping to the production and functional testing of the parts.
Robotechnik, one of the largest manufacturers of inspection solutions in solar production.
3DaaS Plus builds on the success of the 3DaaS Base subscription service, which provides customers with automatic replenishment of HP 3D supplies, simplified billing and usage tracking, and reliable remote and on-site support services. 3DaaS Base is available for the HP Jet Fusion 5200, HP Jet Fusion 4200 and HP Jet Fusion 500 series 3D solutions.
