The new compatibility between MakerBot and Autodesk Tinkercad, a browser-based 3D design and modeling tool, provides a first-in-class connection between 3D design and 3D printing. Users can export models directly to My MakerBot without ever leaving their web browsers. This new connection brings two essential science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) learning tools together and empowers educators to easily equip students with critical design and problem-solving skills.

Today, due to increasingly shorter production and development times, the inspection of tools, systems and parts directly takes place during the ongoing production. GOM responds to this challenge of industry with mobile and flexible measuring systems that can be used directly on-site of the measuring object.

The 13th GOM 3D Metrology Conference focused on digitization. More than 750 metrology experts from over 50 countries shared their experiences in the field of metrological automation solutions and virtual assembly analysis.
