The latest version of Renishaw's CARTO software (v4.12) now includes analysis-based data stitch functionality for long axis measurements using the XK10 alignment laser system. The data stitch function in CARTO Explore has been developed to reduce noise on long axis measurements which are often affected by air turbulence. By breaking this measurement down into smaller sections and stitching them together, the environmental effects on each section can be reduced, leading to an increase in the accuracy of the overall measurement.
